Dona nobis pacem.
Lluvia
Grant us peace.
Poets are great people who can expess their emotions well through their poetry.
Composers are even greater people who are able to bring out the original feelings expressed by the poets through music.
Music, transcends all else to touch the inner walls of all men.
Without music, how would you ever say that you truly felt?
Without music, how would you say that you have truly lived?
Music, crosses all boundaries, including that of languages, cultures and nature.
Music, allows you to paint your own image, one that may be unique and different from the rest, of what you feel and thought of the piece.
Sadness, without pessimism [the essence of Tango], should be what we should all learn to achieve.
If you had listened with your heart instead of your ears, and felt in addition to thought, you would have gained much from LLUVIA presented by SYC Ensemble Singers conducted by Ms Jennifer Tham.
